The L.O.S.A Edgework Program is designed to build the foundation of elite skating. Edge control is the difference between players who simply move on the ice and players who control the ice — and this program focuses exclusively on developing that advantage.
Skaters are taught how to properly use their inside and outside edges through structured drills that emphasize balance, posture, knee bend, weight transfer, and body positioning. Every session is progressive, meaning skills are layered and reinforced to create real, measurable improvement.
Athletes will work on:
Inside and outside edge control
Forward and backward power edges
Tight turns, pivots, and transitions
Acceleration and deceleration control
Stability under pressure and at game speed
Sessions are run in a focused, high-rep environment with strong coach-to-skater ratios, allowing for continuous feedback and correction. Skaters are grouped by skill level, ensuring appropriate challenge and faster development.
This program is ideal for players who want to:
Become stronger and more efficient skaters
Improve agility, balance, and body control
Win puck battles through better positioning
Translate skating improvements directly into game performance
The L.O.S.A Edgework Program is not about flashy drills — it’s about mastering the fundamentals that separate good skaters from great ones.
Limited spots per session.
Edges matter. Train them at L.O.S.A.
